Nana’s Crusty Apple Cake

7/10: i need to line the outside of the pans with batter so they come out, besides that very good
difficulty: 3/10

2 tbsp flax seed + 6 tbsp water
1 1/2 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2/3 c oil (i used coconut)
2 c ap flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
*3 c sliced and peeled apples
1 c chopped walnuts
*the og recipe said 2 cups, but 3 cups makes it taste better (though it makes them fall apart more)— using tube pan might aid this problem

preheat oven to 350. grease 10 in. tube/ bundt pan (i used mini bundts). combine flax mix, sugar, oil, and vanilla in a large bowl. sift in remaining dry ingredients and fold in. add apples and walnuts (there should be as many apples as there is batter & the batter is thick). place in pan and bake for a little over fifty mins. top with powdered sugar/apple jam/pb/etc.
